Members of the Professional Convention Management Association in Victoria for their own conference held an event to fill our blue bags with personal-care essentials and contribute financially to support Wear2Start. We can’t thank you enough for your support!
Conference delegates from PCMA Canada East and Canada West Chapter participated in the Community Service Event in support of Wear2Start. About 30 participants gathered to fill W2S blue bags with essential personal-care items such as shampoo, toothbrushes and deodorant. All the contents of the bags were donated by participants and hotels. In barely 15 minutes, the participants filled 89 bags and there were lots of extra items that will be used in future blue bags, one of which is provided to each of our clients. On top of all that, the organization donated $1,300 to W2S. We are overwhelmed by this group’s generosity and the work of the session’s organizer extraordinaire Andrea Wagner. We can’t thank you enough.
