Spring will be in the air and on the runway at the Union Club of British Columbia on Sunday, April 23, for a fashion show to support Wear2Start.
It’s the third time the club has presented a fashion and the first time that it will serve as a fundraiser, said organizer Georgina De Carlo. Wear2Start is honoured to be chosen as the first recipient of the event’s proceeds.
Fashions from Bernstein & Gold, d.g. bremner, hughes Clothing and Outlooks For Men will be modelled by couples who are members of the Union Club.
Afternoon tea will be served at the event – one of the first held in the Union Club’s recently renovated ballroom.
Members of the Wear2Start Society will be on hand at the end to talk to participates about the work we do.
Tickets are $35 per person and are available from the participating retailers – Bernstein & Gold, d.g. bremner, Hughes Clothing and Outlooks For Men – and the Union Club of British Columbia, 250-384-1151.
