Wear2Start introduces new online appointments for clothing donations
To keep our volunteers and donors healthy and safe, we have made some changes to our clothing donation system.
All donations will be now accepted one day a week by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Wear2Start accepts nearly new, contemporary, ready to wear, seasonal appropriate women’s business casual attire in all sizes. All clothing donations MUST be clean and ready to wear. No donations should be in need of repair.
Due to our limited storage space, we will be accepting only Business Casual clothing and accessories, including shoes and boots (preferably low-heeled), purses, scarves, wallets and jewelry. All other clothing will be returned to the donor at the appointment time. Please consider taking clothing that we cannot accept to WIN (Women In Need), the Salvation Army or check with another local charity to see if they are accepting clothing.
Donations for Wear2Start will now be received in the Storage Room down the hall from the Boutique, on the second floor at 733 Johnson St. Note that as we ease into our new system, we will be accepting clothing only on Fridays, between 10:30 am and 2 pm.
