After weeks of planning, our renovation is complete and we are finally moving our stock back in. Huge thanks to the team Incredible Home Incredible Closets (https://incrediblehome.ca/), where they clearly have magical powers when it comes to organizing a space in the most beautiful fashion imaginable. Ted and his team carefully put together a plan that included a generous donation to Wear2Start. Also, we are indebted to superwoman Kelly Moir, senior interior designer at MGBA Architecture and Interior Design in Victoria, who connected us with Incredible Home and helped come up with the plan to refresh our boutique. Brad, Incredible Home’s installer, made the magic happen on site Jan. 27, working tirelessly from about 8:30 am to well past 5:30 pm. We have sleek new shelving, gleaming hanging rails and a new central console on wheels which allows us to make better use of our space. The boutique volunteers are moving stock back in this week. So, if you have items to donate** — lightly used clothing, shoes, purses and accessories, such as jewelry and scarves — you can drop them off at our boutique at 733 Johnson St.. Items can safely left outside our boutique on the second floor anytime between 8:30 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Sorry the second floor is no longer open on Saturdays. Please ensure items are clean and in good condition with no rips, tears, pilling, missing buttons, etc. Look at your items and ask: “Is this something I would wear to a job interview tomorrow?” Thanks for your support. (**PLEASE NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 health emergency we have temporarily suspended clothing donations. Our building is currently closed to the public. If possible, please hang on to your donations until we are able to reopen. We will update our website when the situation changes. Thank you for your patience and support.)
