A DIFFICULT BUT NECESSARY DECISION
In view of Health Canada’s recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by “keeping a distance of at least 2 arms-lengths (approximately 2 metres) from others, as much as possible,” Wear2Start has been postponing appointments for clients in our boutique. As the situation continues to worsen, we have decided to close our boutique both for clients and for donations of clothing until further notice.
While we regret this inconvenience, we want to be very cautious when it comes to the health of our clients, volunteers and the wider community.
Wear2Start will be in touch with clients and partner agencies as soon as we are able to rebook appointments. To the wider community, we appreciate your continued support and will use our social media channels and on our website to announce when we will reopen our boutique and begin accepting donations again.
