Donations of clothing and money are the building blocks on which the Wear2Start Society helps economically disadvantaged women get a leg up in the job market. But sometimes a little lumber helps in the building process, too.

That’s where a big shout out goes to Home Depot at University Heights for generously giving our non-profit organization lumber to transform a storage room into a workable, giant-sized closet for clothing used to give clients a ready-for-work makeover.

Home Depot’s contribution is helping Wear2Start run an effective service for needy women. Our organization also relies on the donations of gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories suitable for the workplace.
